Project/account Manager, Français Vraiment Très Bien, S’il Vous Plaît

SirFish | Hasselt

We’re looking for a feisty project and account manager who speaks très, très good French. And by that, we don’t mean being able to order deux croissants et un café. We mean confidently calling, emailing, presenting to and joking with French-speaking clients — without Google Translate quietly sweating in the background.

You’re that person in a group of friends everyone looks at when a trip needs organizing. Your personal calendar contains more colourful blocks than an XXL box of LEGO, and you already have a plan B before anyone has noticed that plan A is in trouble.

As a project and account manager, you’re a walking Waze app. You navigate the entire team, from copywriter to web developer, while keeping clients in the loop and projects on track. You anticipate budgetary obstacles, planning jams and unexpected detours, and make sure everyone has enough fuel to reach the finish line.

The final destination? Smooth projects that stay within budget, deadline and scope — and clients who are heureux, content and very happy.

Things you can bring to the table

  • You have a degree in marketing, communication or something equally useful.
  • You have at least three years of relevant experience.
  • You speak and write French extremely well. Dutch and English are also part of your linguistic toolbox.
  • You manage projects from start to finish for a variety of clients.
  • You build strong client relationships and understand what they need — sometimes even before they do.
  • You brief creatives and suppliers, create project and studio schedules, and guard deadlines with your life.
  • You keep budgets, timing and scope under control.
  • You prepare invoices without suddenly disappearing into the Ardennes.
  • You shower clients with love: in person, on the phone, via email and, when required, en français.
  • You are accurate, structured and remarkably calm when fifteen things happen at once.
  • You are positive and in a good mood — well, most of the time.

Things we can bring to the table

  • A full-time, indefinite-term contract.
  • A salary that matches your experience and talent.
  • Challenging projects for clients from every industry — yes, even a singer-songwriter.
  • A laptop and smartphone.
  • Fun colleagues who also sold their souls to advertising.
  • Plenty of opportunities to work with French-speaking clients and prove that “je vais regarder” is not the same as “je vais garder”.
  • A personal email signature in the SirFish colours of your choice.
  • An inspiring office space in the city centre.
  • Real coffee, a stocked fridge and a place at the table on Vettige Vrijdag.

Bonus points

Please don’t tell us how “extremely motivated and eager” you are to join us. Show us instead.

Send us an application so far outside the box that it isn’t even delivered to our mailbox. Get us a contract with Coca-Cola. Attach a selfie with a clownfish. Or a clown and a fish. Write us a French chanson about project planning. Whatever works.

As long as your application proves two things: you’re creative, and your French is much better than our singing.

If you avoid clichés, we promise not to ask where you see yourself in five years when we invite you over.

Pinky promise. Promis juré.

When applying be sure to reference Creativeskills.be in the subject or body of your email.

Hi! So nice of you to read this little text. Since it’s really hard to describe who we are in just a short paragraph, we’ll just throw some key words at you. Here goes: advertising, creative, flexible, dedicated, challenger, quirky, humble with just a hint of Kanye. If you want to know more, we strongly suggest you visit www.sirfish.be. Just tread lightly and don’t touch the painting.
