Account Manager

King of Hearts is looking for an Account Manager: a structured, commercially minded relationship builder who can guide clients, projects and internal teams with clarity, care and confidence.

You will be the day-to-day point of contact for clients and help turn their needs into clear briefs, strong proposals, realistic timings and smooth project delivery. You will work on a mix of local and international clients, across strategy, branding, communication and design.

We are looking for someone who combines client focus, commercial awareness, project ownership and a genuine interest in brands and communication.

What you will do

• Manage client relationships from briefing to delivery.
• Translate client needs into clear internal briefs and project plans.
• Coordinate projects across strategy, copy, design, digital and production.
• Prepare proposals, timings, budgets and scopes of work.
• Keep projects on track in terms of planning, budget, quality and expectations.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships.
• Support new business conversations and follow-up where needed.
• Make sure communication between client and team is clear, timely and constructive.
• Help safeguard both client satisfaction and agency profitability.

About you

• You have 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in account management, project management or client service, preferably in a branding, communication, creative or digital agency.
• You are comfortable managing several projects and stakeholders at the same time.
• You communicate clearly, professionally and with confidence.
• You are organised, proactive and calm when priorities shift.
• You understand the importance of scope, timing, budget and quality.
• You enjoy working closely with strategists, copywriters, designers and creative leads.
• You think in solutions and help move projects forward.
• You have a commercial mindset and can spot opportunities with existing or new clients.
• You are interested in branding, strategy, communication and design.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
