Sensolus is an industrial IoT company, founded by four IoT enthusiasts. Our company is built upon many years of expertise in low-power networks, wireless sensor design, and cloud-based sensor management and analysis. Based on this expertise, key drivers of our asset tracking solution were identified. Sensolus is easy-to-install (goodbye, manuals), crystal-clear to non-tech savvy people (in other words grandma proof) and creates productivity gains (let’s crush those KPIs). We keep our pioneering position in a challenging industry by developing everything in-house. Our company is based in Belgium with offices in Ghent and Hasselt. We have partnered up with a production team in Taiwan and a development team in Vietnam. Our ambition? Remain a frontrunner in industrial IoT in Europe and beyond.

Alles wat je moet weten over asset tracking

Laten we eerst verduidelijken wat we met assets bedoelen in deze context, voor we dieper ingaan op asset tracking zelf. Assets zijn (waardevolle) apparaten of materialen die in het bezit zijn van een bedrijf. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan compressoren, trailers, containers, pallets of productie-onderdelen. Als je compressoren naast trailers zet, is één duidelijk verschil dat compressoren over een interne energiebron beschikken en trailers niet. Assets zoals trailers hebben dus geen interne batterij of energiebron en worden daarom ook wel non-powered assets genoemd.
