Aluminium LED lamp
A project from my first year as an industrial engineer consisted of designing a mood lamp using only aluminium and LED's. Mine has following properties: -USB-connection for power. -Adapter from 230V to 5V USB connector. (So the lamp can be plugged into both computer USB ports and domestic power sockets) -Boost-converter: self soldered internal circuit for driving LED's -Blue ring illuminating the power switch
