Since 1992, the European Journalism Centre (EJC) has been building a sustainable, ethical and innovative future for journalism through grants, events, training and media development. We are an international non-profit, headquartered in the Netherlands, that connects journalists with new ideas, skills and people.

The internship will allow you to work in an international organisation with many different cultures. During the internship, you will be supporting the IT team and will be able to improve your own skills!

Duties and responsibilities of the intern

• Support the IT team in maintaining and setting up hardware, software, and other systems
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support to colleagues

Skills

• Web development knowledge such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, Twig, PHP

But do not be afraid if you don’t meet all the requirements, if you are willing to learn and venture out in unknown territories,  we are already halfway there! 

• Period: starting in February - ending in July (dates can be discussed)
• Commitment: 32-40 hours per week
• Compensation: internship allowance can be discussed
• Location: remote working is possible
