Your tasks

Managing the acoustic lighting collection well is of high importance as it is the fastest growing category within BuzziSpace. You make sure the portfolio stays up-to-date with the evolving market expectations and introduce new options and new product families. You manage the functional and technical characteristics of the acoustic lighting portfolio and assist sales and after sales with your advice.

You are a project manager in bringing new products and product families to the market. You set out the planning and drive a team that exists of people from various departments like developers, sourcing, supply chain, production, marketing communication… in the development journey from idea to prototype to manufacturable and commercial product. Often operating in a challenging timeframe (yes, we sometimes are that kind of company…). You know how to make the right trade-offs and decisions during the development phase of a product and push the project forward.

Following aspects are part of your role as project manager:

  • Close cooperation with development and sourcing
  • Frequent correspondence with often renown designers
  • Certification for different regions and markets
  • Supplier screening
  • Product administration (BOMs, component pricing, price lists)
  • Defining content for product documentation (PIM/DAM, manuals, specification sheets, …)
  • Celebrate success

You are a beacon of certification, market and product knowledge for sales. You can see the bigger picture beyond the products and the collection you manage. You understand how they suit the needs of the customer. You know the market, the competitors, and the requirements on certification that affect our products. You speak with passion about your products.

You take pleasure in sharing your knowledge by:

  • Holding webinars on product updates towards agents, dealers and colleagues worldwide
  • Having a short line communication with sales and their customers
  • Organizing trainings for sales and other colleagues

You will be a member of the Product Management team within the Marketing Department, reporting to the Product Management leader.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

  • has minimal 5 years of experience as a product manager (or can convince us why you will be an outstanding product manager without)
  • has possible experience in US-regulation regarding lighting (UL, ETL) or is not reluctant to master the complex matter of certification
  • is a teamplayer with excellent communication and motivational skills
  • has an eye for quality and details and makes no concessions about it
  • can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • is flexible about working place, operating mostly from Antwerp (BE) but very often from Turnhout (BE) or Bladel (NL)
  • walks the talk regarding “happy and healthy workspaces”
  • can put a smile on our face
