Who is Stolp?

Stolp is on a mission to help humans create a healthier relationship with their favorite pocket buddy, the smartphone. Starting by making society more aware about the impact of being always connected and the impact this little screen on our conversations, we develop products that ultimately bring more time well spent to daily life.

Besides our current two products we're expanding to become a complete one-stop-shop for 'healthier smartphone habits' and build a brand around Stolp. And we're looking for someone to join us on our journey!

What will you do?

In a start-up many responsibilities could end up on your plate. But we mainly have these responsibilities in mind for you:

Growth Strategy: you're one of the main drivers behind our growth. Together with the company leadership you'll work on defining the growth strategies and how to translate those to the business.
Strategy implementation: you take the responsibility to deliver on the strategies with regards to marketing, branding and e-commerce. For this part, it's essential you'll be doing the following :
1. Drive Growth: you know how to contribute to the Stolp brand development and sales. You help define key aspects in our brand identity, determine channels to build the brand, and allocate & manage budget.
2. A drive to create content : you think in terms of campaigns and, with your fluent pen, are comfortable writing both long- and short-form copy for social media, press releases, blogs,... You know how to create content that is consistent with our brand. You don't just follow the guidelines, you'll create them. You can quickly shift across various forms of content (advertising, social media, newsletters) by combining appealing copy, content with value for the reader and the right finishing touches. Moreover, you know how to do this independently. Thanks to your campaigns, we'll create awareness around the important themes, raise the brand familiarity of Stolp and help people towards better phone habits.
3. Other projects you might work on: we think it's important you can continue to learn & grow at Stolp according to your passions and ambitions. You'll be able to embark on extra tasks/projects, such as: work with our retail partners to enhance the shopping experience around Stolp, support the go-to-market plan for onboarding Stolp at restaurants and with clients, act as a project manager during our collaborations with a branding agency, and much more...

Who are you?

  • You have a passion for the mission of Stolp! (Or you can imagine yourself having the passion after you've digged into the topic). You're driven to make society a little better (around smartphone-usage)
  • We don't have all the answers, but you might. You're a real win for the current team and we look forward to your expertise. This means you have a couple of years of experience (3-5 years) in a (partially) similar role, meaning you have experience in online sales of a consumer product.
  • Creating content drives you. You have experience in a role that includes content creation and you know firsthand that's what you like to do, besides driving growth. You're creative, come up with new ideas, campaigns, and have the skills or go-get-mentality to make your ideas happen.
  • You're both a builder and an executer. While you're executing, you realise that perfection is the enemy of execution. We strive towards clean branding and content with value for the customer, but perfection can't withhold you to deliver results and put your content out there for the world to see.
  • You have a startup mindset: you thrive when you can work independently in a changing environment and you've got the ability/the will to learn, to grow, and to take responsibility. You know how to balance priorities and manage a budget.
  • You're naturally curious, you try to be self-conscious, are a learner, and are positive: you try to see the opportunity in the setback (of course some - inward - cursing is allowed).
  • Your English is impeccable and Dutch is more than a bonus.

Bonusses:

  • Graphic design skills would be really nice.
  • Knowledge of Shopify platform and/or HTML-coding.
