Let’s talk about the role!    

Kipling is looking for an outstanding FRONT END & CREATIVE WEBMASTER to join our Digital Marketing team in Antwerp, Belgium.  You will advise, lead, plan and execute our digital communication to improve and elevate story building on kipling.com

As part of the Digital Marketing team you will support us in the following projects:

Kipling.com

  • Advising Global teams on EMEA content needs
  • Adapting Global content to EMEA needs
  • Uploading and implementing digital content across our EMEA focus countries.
  • Designing and adapting EMEA specific online content for homepage and landing pages in line with brand guidelines
  • Update and maintain the hygiene pages & category pages on our CMS platform (Amplience).
  • Follow marketing calendar / timelines
  • Secure the best SEO implementation

Storytelling

  • Develop story telling together with the Ecommerce team for our iconic products
  • Bring stories creating emotional stopping power based on functionality and style elevation
  • Build inspirational pages to attract Millennials
  • Help our CRM marketeer on online leads gathering / onsite CRM driven programs to create active inflow / traffic
  • Make mock-up’s and wireframes to visualise ideas
  • Brief and align with our SEO and translation agency

UX /UI

  • Support in optimising the organic traffic to Kipling.com
  • Elevate UX / UI
  • Understand Google Analytics insights and adapt content to best practices

Paid campaign support

  • Support creation of digital assets for Kipling.com paid campaigns
  • Support Pan EU marketing activities (QVC, Zalando, Amazon, Bol.COM, …) on content needs

What profile are we looking for?

  • Min 5 years of experience as a web/front-end developer
  • You are creative
  • You like variety and challenge
  • You understand industry best practices related to web design and development
  • You stay up to date with current trends and developments within the digital marketing field
  • Good knowledge of HMTL5, CSS3, basic knowledge of Javascript
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Adobe suit (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects)
  • Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Amplience (or similar)
  • Responsive/adaptive design experience
  • Mobile first mindset
  • Ability to understand how coding practices affect speed and functionality of a site
  • Comfortably handle change requests and provide quick and efficient solutions
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong work relationships
  • Ability to work proactively and take responsibility
  • UX/ UI experience
  • Superb knowledge of SEO and GA (CVR, Bouncerate, page speed)
  • Planning and organisational skills (seasonal calendar)
  • Fluent in English, other European language is an advantage (French, German, Spanish, Italian)
