Content Creator

Paloma is searching for a social video content creator. This role is all about cultural awareness, humour, guts and speed. You’ll focus on coming up with, writing, shooting, directing and editing social media concepts.

You know what works on socials & have a singular voice, style and sense of humour. You prioritize relevance and speed over perfection. You like working in team, but can also handle working independently. You are flexible and can easily pivot between tasks.

Paloma is an independent campaign agency that likes to surprise people through experiences, outdoor & social content. Your responsibilities:

1. You’ll come up with innovative social concepts for platforms like tiktok and instagram.
2. You’ll understand social trends, memes, and platform culture and translate them into edits.
3. You’ll direct behind the camera or appear in front of the camera when needed.
4. You’ll edit low-effort, high-impact videos, sometimes live or directly during social shoots.
5. You’ll focus on humour, punchlines, rhythm, and timing rather than heavy effects or complex transitions.
6. You’ll write accompanying social copies or text-on-screen for the edits, using the correct tov for the platform and the client.

Who you are:

1. A content creator who lives on social media.
2. Fast, intuitive, and comfortable working under short deadlines.
3. Strong feeling for humour, punchlines, and cultural relevance.
4. Proactive, curious, and always aware of what’s trending (and what’s already over).
5. A team player with clear communication and an open mindset.
6. Someone who knows how to edit in premiere pro or live during a shoot in capcut.
