At AI-BLOX we believe that the lack of good edge AI hardware is slowing down this innovation. Therefore we build ready to use AI hardware blocks to support companies around the world in their AI innovations.
Your role
We want to take away friction points in the AI Value Chain. We do that by providing modular hardware blocks, and our clients also require a robust software stack. Our mission is to make edge intelligence easy, and so you will help us to build an environment where our clients can configure, update & manage their edge devices in an efficient way.
We look for a senior energetic full-stack developer that can build a smooth front-end & back-end for our Blox Operating System. This will include tasks such as:
Design and develop scalable, high-quality, custom web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework
Collaborate with the product management team, clients, prospects and partners to define project goals, gather input and derive software requirements
Keeping up to date with the latest AI developments
Requirements
+5 years work experience in software development (senior)
Proven work experience as a Full Stack Software Developer with practical expertise in Ruby on Rails.
Curious by nature, passion for learning and for staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Practical experience with Github / AWS / Heroku
Knowledge of security systems like KPI, TLS, MLTS
Experience with AWS and systems like S3 and/or EC2
You worked on cloud microservices, backend/frontend/api architecture/design
Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HAML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Proven experience of Ruby and Python programming
You are self-motivated and are able to set up things from scratch, always in close collaboratoin with the team. We give you a lot of freedom to realize the project goals in the best possible way.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
