Telstar Internship

This 6-month international internship was offered by the European Leonardo Da Vinci programme. I chose to work with the Spanish company Telstar Technologies, dedicated to the design and manufacturing of equipement solutions for life and health sciences. Telstar has 750 employees and is based in Terrassa. During the internship, I operated as a design engineer in the R&D department of Telstar’s lyophilization business. After familiarzing myself with the inner workings of the lyophilization machines, I was assigned a variety of tasks. These included: • defining subassemblies of the Lyoquest • reconfiguring the assembly line of the Lyoquest • floorplan design of the new production site for the Lyoquest • models and technical drawings in Solidworks • translating Spanish user manuals in English • rendering presentation images
