Rektor

As a member of the modular R&D team I do engineering of our fixtures. We make sure that the concept/idea/drawing becomes a product that is technical feasable with all requested features. We do the required tests,photoshoot/fair samples, cost calculations, technical drawings and mounting instructions to make the fixtures ready for production. Rektor is one of the projects I have worked on. We have done research for new materials and used chrome in a full surface to obtain a mirror effect and we have introduced a new metal finish 'smoked bronze'. I managed to integrate the cable into the fixture to have no wires visible and this gives possibility to rotate the fixture to a maximum. 'Rektor received Henry Van de Velde Label 2014. The jury appreciated the fine details, the excellent and the contemporary materials of Rektor.'
