As a Creative (Web) Designer, you will support a dynamic marketing team with the branding of an ambitious and visionary high-tech company. You have a knack for graphic design and have experience with front-end web development, so you can handle both the design and the development of digital and offline media. You closely follow trends and developments in technology and are able to integrate them into our environment and practices. On top of that, you’re a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant and creative ideas, and you pay tremendous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• helping with the graphic design of all external and internal online communication
• developing, maintaining and enhancing our different websites and marketing collaterals on-brand
• performing usability tests on interface design to ensure cross-browser compatibility
• contributing to team efforts by helping out wherever needed

Competencies

• you have an eye for visual composition
• you are a creative fast learner and logical thinker with a can-do attitude
• you have adequate technical knowledge and a good understanding of web-related technologies
• you are able to test/prototype new ideas quickly in a rapid-fire and experimental environment
• you can adapt and switch between several ongoing projects
• you work with precision and know how to handle deadlines

Technical skills

• very good knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite
• very good knowledge of advanced HTML, JavaScript and CSS techniques to solve design issues
• good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• if you know how to handle a camera, that’s definitely worth mentioning

Typical education: You have a bachelor’s degree in Devine (Digital Design and Development), in Graphic Design and Digital Media, or similar.

Basic qualifications for consideration: This position requires that you work from our offices located in Izegem, Belgium. You have good verbal and written communication skills in English. You're able to demonstrate your graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
