We are Dieter Vander Velpen Architects, an Antwerp based architecture office specializing in high end residential & hospitality design. In the past years our office has grown into a vibrant team of nine working on local and international projects.

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative designer, ideally with experience in the luxury product industry.

It is important to have a strong sensibility of materiality and design. This profile will work closely with interior designers on various company-wide projects including custom furniture, lighting collections, objects, custom hospitality designs etc..

You are:

°BA / MA in interior architecture, interior, furniture or product design.

°experienced in product design and development.

°excellent software skills (3D + 2D)

° a team player with clear communication skills.

°someone with understanding of construction and materiality.

°someone with excellent knowledge of luxury, high-end furniture and product design.

You will:

° work with our Antwerp based team on projects in Belgium as well as abroad.

°assist Interior designers in meeting all product development related deadlines, handle correspondence and coördination.

°sketch for new concepts & design custom pieces

° go through all phases of projects: help define client needs, conceptual design, design development and project management

° communicate directly with clients, contractors and vendors

°Execute quality control inspections with a critical eye
