To support the Digital Marketing team, Kipling is seeking a talented Email Maketeer to create, update, implement, analyse and improve the email marketing process and strategy.

The position

Kipling is seeking an Email Marketeer to support the Digital Marketing team for managing the organisations email marketing campaigns and maximising revenue opportunities from the CRM and customer database.

The Email Marketeer is responsible for contributing to a world-class customer experience by:

  • Creating and optimizing on the full email funnel from A to Z
  • Improving and finding all CRM opportunities
  • Developing and executing the member experience

The Email Marketeer will have a mobile-first mind-set to maximize usability and deliver an efficient and visually compelling user experience that drives engagement and conversion. He / She takes exceptional pride in his / her work and is committed to the craft.


As part of the Digital Marketing team you will support us in the following projects:

Email Marketing

  • Managing the email campaigns by creating, localising, implementing, updating the campaigns
  • Analysing and reporting of current email marketing campaigns and gathering all business insights
  • Tracking and reporting on email campaigns in order to guide improvements
  • Carrying out segmentation of the database
  • Optimizing email campaigns using personalization, A/B testing, and by incorporating industry best practices
  • Creating and executing automated marketing workflows, including transactional, lifecycle and upsell messages


  • Develop a clear CRM strategy
  • Develop and cary out inflow strategy


  • Improve loyalty program using all touchpoints (website, app, notifications)
  • Create and optimize retention strategies to retain, grow, and strengthen member base
  • Gather and analyze feedback and results from members on a regular basis


  • Ensuring all email campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry
  • Brainstorm ideas for new email marketing campaigns

Required profile:

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in a similar field or position
  • You will be extremely analytical and be able to translate data into actionable and profitable marketing plans.
  • You are creative and like variety and challenge
  • You understand industry best practices related to web design and email development.
  • You stay up to date with current trends and developments within the email marketing field
  • Knowledge of HTML 5, CSS and knowledge of Javascript
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Photoshop, InDesign
  • Experience with an email marketing & CRM platform like Clang, E-Village or Sales Force.
  • Comfortably handle change requests and provide quick and efficient solutions
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong work relationships
  • Ability to work proactively
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Fluent in English, other European language is an advantage (German, Spanish, Italian)
