The Corporate Communication Manager is accountable for conveying the organization’s internal and external messages, information. Growing pride on the organisation and cross departmental connection.

Areas of responsibility

  • Internally, the Corporate Communication Mgr (CCM) is accountable to correspond with employees and external stakeholders to keep them informed of company developments.
  • CCM creates strategies/tactics to increase employee awareness and promotes the company’s mission/vision/strategy, with an impact on productivity in line with the HR strategy. (Internally  is 80% of time spending)
  • CCM is defining and implementing digital tooling as Key channel for communication.
  • Externally, the CCM is responsible for public relations. (Externally  is 20% time spending)

  • Distributing executive and managerial messages, timely , in line with the company’s culture
  • A communication plan to grow Employee Engagement which is key in realizing Employer Branding and maintaining.
  • Preparing presentations and internal memos, and conduct meetings to assemble and share information, resulting in a motivational/encouraging impact.
  • Develop Templates (print materials) to exchange information /communication. (Meeting rules…)
  • Effective use by employees of implemented digital tools, such as sharepoint,…
  • Issuing press releases, arranging interviews and compiling press kits.
  • E.g. weekly report to line manager to update status on activities and outcome

Key Performance Indicators 

  • Internal Communication plan (what, why, how) which is efficient in reaching all employees and contractors
  • 80% reading proof, growing connectivity with internal stakeholders
  • Correct writing in Dutch, English, French, 100%
  • Linking internal communication with customer brand, employer brand and corporate brand in alignment with internal stakeholders, CEO, COO, HR, 100%
  • Effective use of sharepoint by employees for internal communication, sharing knowledge. Plan to develop in order to achieve by end 2021 for 100% embedded
