Typhoon Hospitality is the PR and marketing agency for hospitality and beverage brands, both in the Netherlands and internationally. We work for great clients such as Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, Moët Hennessy, Poké Perfect, NENI and AIX, for whom we devise marketing and communication strategies and execute them from A to Z. We work from our offices in Amsterdam South and Antwerp. Our 18-strong team consists of driven and talented account managers, PR managers, social media managers, marketing managers, copywriters & designers.

Typhoon Hospitality is a marketing and PR agency specializing in the hospitality industry. Its client portfolio includes prestigious hotels, restaurants, and beverage brands. From across the entire Benelux region, we design marketing, communication, and social media strategies for our clients, which we then execute from A to Z. Our team consists of dedicated and talented account managers, PR managers, social media managers, marketing managers, a copywriter, and a inhouse graphic designer.

THE JOB

As Typhoon’s official Belgium Sales & Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the operational support of all Typhoon’s clients in Belgium. You’ll run the show with your Belgian hospitality know-how and the necessary flair to get the job done. You’re the (wo)man to go to for all Belgium-based clients and act as the seamless link between them and the Management team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of projects from A to Z.
  • Maintaining client satisfaction by keeping everyone up-to-date and delivering results even before they realize they need them.
  • Building and leveraging a strong local network to establish unique partnerships for each initiative.
  • Assisting Typhoon’s HQ in expanding the Belgium clientele portfolio by identifying and connecting with potential new clients.
  • Supporting local concepts and initiatives to ensure their success.
  • Leveraging your commercial mindset to identify opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Maintaining a helicopter view to oversee multiple projects and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Proactively acting on new opportunities, such as the opening of new venues, to establish connections immediately.

You’re a people person who knows their way around the Belgian hospitality scene and understands what makes it tick. You have a strong hospitality feeling, keeping up with what’s hip and happening in the industry. You know exactly who a great match with Typhoon’s portfolio is and work would be tirelessly to create lasting relationships within the industry.

THE TEAM

You’ll work closely with a small, dedicated Belgian team and collaborate frequently with your Dutch colleagues on a management level. It’s all about strategizing, planning, coordinating, and making things happen.

  • You’ll work primarily from our flex office at Taylor & Hubs in Antwerp.
  • Occasionally, you’ll be required to visit the Amsterdam office for training & -strategic sessions and seasonal office parties.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong local and regional network within hospitality.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Proactive, independent, and a collaborative team player.
  • Strong commercial & creative skills with a solution-driven mindset.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a marketing-savvy approach.
  • Experience in digital marketing (e.g., SEO, SEA, newsletters, Google Ads).
  • Passion for food, drinks, and hospitality.
