About the role

Together with the E-commerce Manager you will define and execute our international e-commerce strategy to grow and develop our different brands, with a key focus on Biosil. You keep at all times an overview of the various projects, determine the priorities and tune new initiatives in the function of the business for Biominerals. This is a hands-on role, putting you at the forefront of our D2C channels.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Campaigns:

  • Collaborate with external agencies to plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and display advertising campaigns, tailored to support our D2C objectives.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of these campaigns, coordinating with the agencies to adjust strategies as needed.

Email Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns and always-on flows to nurture leads, promote products, and engage customers throughout their lifecycle.

SEO Strategy:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to enhance visibility and organic search rankings, collaborating with content creators to ensure content is SEO-friendly.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm changes to ensure high rankings.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Work closely with our internal brand manager to develop engaging content for the website and email marketing campaigns that reflects the brand and meets consumer needs.
  • Ensure content is optimized for search engines and aligns with the company’s brand voice and guidelines.

Website and E-Commerce Management:

  • Oversee the management of the company's D2C website, focusing on improving user experience, site navigation, and content presentation to maximize conversions.
  • Define new iterations to the website to enhance conversion rate optimization.
  • Analyze user behavior data to understand how customers interact with the site and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Work closely together with our internal developer team for website updates and iterations.
  • Improvement seeking towards innovative website’s tech-stack technologies.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Regularly track and analyze digital marketing metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies, presenting findings to the e-commerce manager and broader marketing team.
  • Leverage analytics tools to derive insights on traffic, conversion rates, and overall digital marketing performance.

Innovate and Optimize:

  • Test new digital marketing methodologies and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Continuously seek to improve digital marketing efforts through innovation and optimization based on industry best practices.


  • You are part of the Global team working from our offices in Ghent and report to the e-commerce manager.
  • You are part of the marketing team and work closely with the marketing team to ensure that digital marketing efforts are aligned with wider marketing initiatives and campaigns.
