As a Digital Content Creative, you will create various kinds of content for our marketing team, often about complex technology.

You will write short as well as long texts, always with the right tone of voice. You are a confident writer across the entire marketing communication spectrum. You can research, understand and structure complex information, and present it with the necessary wit and creativity, impeccable grammar and spelling. You have experience with copywriting for different channels, including blog posts, social media, websites, emails, advertisements, brochures, video scripts and more.

You can also correct and enhance texts written by others in a professional and down-to-earth manner, without losing the spirit of the message. You are either a marketing copywriter with experience in the technology and/or software sector, or a technical writer with a keen interest in marketing and product positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Developing various kinds of marketing content, often highly technical, but always with the right tone of voice
  • Working with colleagues in the marketing and product marketing teams to develop and expand our content strategy
  • Maintaining a content calendar to ensure that content efforts stay on track
  • Converting rough interviews and video content into easily digestible reading material
  • Taking documentation that is written by technical experts and adapt it to target audiences, ensuring that technical concepts are accessible to all readers
  • Helping the company maintain a high standard of written English through diligent proofreading

Competencies

  • You can write copy that is human, playful, inclusive, creative, positive and simple
  • You can come up with great catchphrases, create cool storylines and determine the right tone of voice
  • You know how to get rid of half the words on a page, and then get rid of half of what's left
  • You have the flexibility to adapt your writing style to various channels and can capture your audience through storytelling

Technical skills

  • Perfect English grammar and spelling
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to write perfectly in Dutch is a plus
  • Knowledge of telecommunication networks and/or the software business in general is a double plus

Typical education

You have a bachelor or master in English, communication or media studies, or similar.

Basic qualifications for consideration

You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably as a content creator, copywriter or translator at an agency. The quality of your written English is outstanding; an excellent knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
