Three things are non-negotiable for us and anyone looking to help build FOURTEEN needs to represent this same mindset:

You have to be an independent, “bullshit is for cowboys”, hands-on, triple A communications geek without a moustache. A non-conformist “Ringo Star was the coolest Beatle”, out of the box the world is bigger than inside kind of fixer who dares to bump her/his head.

Sounds right? There is one important box you need to tick: you need to be fluent in Dutch or 'Antwaarps' and need to read, write and speak French and English in an understandable or at least funny way.

What you’ll be doing

We help our clients with any concept-to-implementation in the field of strategic corporate & brand communications, so you need to have a skillset that is out of this world. Well, not literally of course, because otherwise how would you get to the office…

  • you’ll blow our minds and our customers’ minds with the coordination and execution of projects from the first briefing until the final delivery
  • daily contact with, and visits to, clients and other stakeholders
  • translating briefings and strategies for creation, suppliers and partners
  • copywriting, at FOURTEEN every communications specialist excels in message development and writes all of his or her own texts (both short and long copy)
  • social media geek, because some of our managing partners are less ‘digital savvy’ so we need you to pick up the slack

Any experience?

We are firm believers that drive and enthusiasm, combined with a substantial amount of “boerenverstand” gets you a long way. But you need to have same first experience as well: 1-3 years in a marketing, communications, HR or business environment is what we are looking for. 

Most importantly, you’ll be learning a lot and you’ll be having fun. If you are not enjoying what you do, you are wasting your time. Playing ball with us is fun. We have a weird sense of humor, but you’ll come to appreciate it sooner rather than later. We offer a platform where you can go wild and make your craziest dreams and ambitions come true.
