About Expect Me

We are a revolutionary room selection and upselling tool for hotels and other accommodation providers. On our platform, guests can select their individual room from an interactive floor plan, as easy as picking their seat on a plane. This empowers them to personalize their stay prior to arrival.

As a SaaS product, our hotel partners can use our platform to achieve their goals. Whether that is to drive incremental revenue, reward direct bookings and loyal guests, or increase guest satisfaction. We are fully integrated with modern, cloud-based property management systems (PMS) to ensure hotels are in complete control and we enhance the operational process.

With hospitality in our DNA, we are an early-stage tech startup in full expansion mode. After a successful development phase and proof of concept, we are onboarding our first hotels and are hungry to grow.

About the role

As a Business Development professional, you will be the driving force behind our expansion. You love to hunt, generate leads, and convert them into customers to ensure we hit our growth targets. But it doesn’t stop there; you enjoy building long-lasting relationships that go beyond closing a deal.

You also know how to think strategically and improve our sales processes and tactics. This includes planning and prioritizing tasks, developing sales material, finding and implementing tools or processes to help us be more efficient in driving success, amongst other things. You are also our eyes and ears in the field. You listen to ideas and requests from (potential) customers, sharing this valuable feedback to improve our product roadmap.

About you

  • You have a proven track record in driving sales and achieving targets.
  • You are passionate about hospitality and the travel industry.
  • You have experience working with tech startups.
  • You know how to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, to different audiences.
  • You are fluent in English, with additional languages preferred.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are not afraid to get your hands dirty.
  • You are pragmatic, with a focus on solution-driven actions.
  • You have the ability to work independently.
  • You are organized and detail oriented.
  • You speak up and are able to express your opinion.
  • You are fun to work with and a great addition to our team!
