UX/UI Designer
at Optimile in the heart of Gent

Optimile is a software company offering Mobility-as-a-service. Mobility-as-a Service (MaaS) has become the new way of transportation. Instead of using personally owned means of transportation, users will move to mobility solutions that are offered as a service. By combining all the mobility solutions in one app, the customers can jump from one transportation mode to another and will be informed which combination is the most efficient, economic or ecological to reach their destination point. Optimile creates an innovative product in a new market within an international context. Not only do we develop software (such as platform, app…) for external parties, but we also have our own brand ‘Mobiflow’ that is responsible for launching the product in Belgium.

Description

Are you a UX/UI designer with experience in mobile and web applications?
Are you a problem-solver, blessed with an analytical mind and a soft spot for design?
Would your superpower be ‘humanizing technology’? Read on!
Optimile is looking for a whizzkid that develops strong user interfaces to improve the user experience of our all-in-one mobility platforms.

What we do?

Optimile is a software company with head office in Ghent, Belgium.
Our goal is to unburden mobility users by offering a combined, future-proof mobility solution through a single gateway.
To help organisations cover this entire process, we have developed our own white-labeled fully operational Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform which contains all necessary features to operate as a MaaS player. This gives mobility users the ultimate freedom to book and pay different mobility services via one single app. We achieve this all-in-one mobility solution by partnering up with different mobility operators from all over Europe, such as public transport operators, bike, step & car sharing operators, charge point operators, etc.
