Who are you?
Your job is your passion, or is it the other way around?
Either way, you are a team player and you're able to work independently on long-term projects, whereas you work closely with a Project Manager. Quality and optimized code is not a 'nice to have' for you, it is an integral part of a project in development. And of course the search for innovative solutions or new technologies is what motivates you.
If we confront you with a problem, you'll probably be able to hack yourself a solution.
What do we expect?
You use common coding practices to achieve code re-usability.
You need to be up to date with some of the latest technologies or at least be able to have a decent chat about them. On the one hand you are a great programmer, on the other hand you know how to handle a design very well and make it pixel-perfect and please your co-design-workers.
You work together with all sorts of creative people: conceptual thinkers, pure graphic designers and developers pur sang. They all have one thing in common: they are web-minded and so are you.
Aside of your great personality you are knowledgeable in the following areas:
- Actionscript 3.0 (but you do know some AS2, right?)
- Aware of other technologies such as AIR, FlashLite and other core Flash Platform products
- Coding patterns / architectures / standards
- An eye for graphic and motion design
- Integration server side technologies with your front-end
- You can grasp basic, or advanced, concepts of server-side technologies
